Dr. Paramesh Kurapati
Dr. Parameshwara Rao Kurapti was born and raised on a farm, his love of animals began early in his life and he enjoys working with all types of pets! His professional interests include medicine, ultrasounography and surgery of all companion animals. Dr. Kurapati has extensive clinical and research experience along with teaching. He has taught Anatomy and Physiology of domestic animals along with disease management of animals for pre-vet students at the University of Connecticut (Go Huskies!) While working as a veterinarian, Dr. Kurapati also earned an MBA in Healthcare Administration. In his free time, Dr. Kurapti loves traveling, as he has been to 38 states, a few countries in Central America, and an extensive road trip of Route 66. He also enjoys badminton, learning languages, listening to music, and working on public health-related issues. In addition, he loves spending time with his wife who is a professor at Geisinger Medical School, and their adorable one year old daughter.
